We start a two part series on Acts 8:26-40 of Phillip walking to meet the Ethiopian. That was a long walk from Samaria, in the midst of open persecution and successful evangelism. In the midst of that success, God says, ‘take a walk’ – did Phillip feel slighted or wonder on the way, ‘but I could do this or that’. We don’t know how long he walked but he walked until … until he found the one man, a Gentile, that God wanted to reach. If you face insecurity you need to listen to tonight’s message!
