It’s important to remember the little victories, the answers to prayer, to so-called ‘coincidences’ that all work together for God’s glory. We note these not to boast but so we do not lose heart nor forget He is and is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him [Hebrews 11:6].

A member called asking for prayer for a new job in the construction industry which tends to be short term project work. Within two days, he was interviewed, offered a longer position for better pay, and has future opportunities long-term with the new company.

One of our members let me know he decided to put last week’s (08/14) Selah challenge to the test, looking at something he believed was “un” and setting it before the Lord. He got an answer to his prayer the next day.

We had been praying for one our members, Kevin H., for a new job. During prayer it was said that the offer would come before sunset on Rosh Ha Shanah. He received an offer exceeding his expectations by around 2pm on Rosh Ha Shanah.

    The rest of the story…

He later found out, that shortly after he left, the entire project (from his old job) had to be shutdown due to everyone on the team coming down with COVID. He had been sent home to prepare for his new job just in the nick of time to avoid catching it.
