Romans 12, part 2 continues along the second and third paragraphs of Paul’s message to the church. Here he urges them to remember the grace that has brought them to where they are and frame that in how they think of themselves, and others. He also reminds us to use the gifts with confidence, even if that gift is the foundation – the love of God.

We look at the beginning verses of Romans 12, which begin with ‘by the mercies of God…’ to become a living sacrifice. That simple phrase sets the context of a powerful call – to live our lives in service to Him, but it can only happen not through our sacrifice…not our strength…but by His mercy.

We need the Presence of the Lord because where His Presence is, there is a blessing. There are three things we cover in seeking His Presence: showing and sharing his mercy, being relatable and worship, and looking for/expecting Him.
