Continuing our message from last time on seeing clearly, we look at Jesus’ comments going from the light that goes into our eyes and ultimately into our whole bodies but then switches to what masters us… We look at how what we see and trust can become our master instead of God and remember that there is no other God but Him.

When life and what we’re watching clouds our vision, Jesus helps us to see. We look at the signs of ‘spiritual pink eye’ and how to keep our vision clear to follow Jesus.

Sometimes life hits hard and it can leave a mark, but Jesus can help us deal with bitterness and lead us to a better way of handling things.

Jesus tells us that even the sparrows are fed and He knows if they fly or fall and that we are worth more than many sparrows. We look tonight at how Jesus knows our needs, cares about the details in our lives and our struggles.

Judge not… it’s a scripture that everybody can quote, even those“Everyone quotes ‘Judge not.’ But Scripture also says the mature ‘judge all things.’ In this message we reconcile Matthew 7:1 with 1 Cor 2:15—learning the difference between condemnation and Spirit-led discernment so we stop policing others and focus on what matters to God.”

Jesus needs to be told, not sold to people; we only need to be led by the Holy Spirit. The thing Jesus wants the most is your heart – whether you’re still wondering about who Jesus is or you’ve walked with him for decades. Tonight we make the moment, forsake our burdens, and take His yoke.

Tonight we look at Romans 11:30 to kick off considering how great the love, mercy, and salvation Jesus has given to us and not to take that for granted.

What do we spend our time, our space, our focus on? Have you ever wondered when moving, ‘why did I keep this?’ — it must have held some value to take it with you. In today’s message, we look at storing up the treasures (the things we value, are set on, and cling to) in our hearts and being able to share those with others.

You might notice a few decorative changes in the site and in our materials – what’s that about? The Lord has been putting Matthew 18:13 on my heart and our emphasis is following that need to focus on the Gospel as our foundation.

With the advent of summer, things focus on vacations, relaxing, and attendance in churches takes a dip. While enjoying life is a good thing, it’s never meant to be apart from God. Listen for ways you can guard your heart and the word of God in your life.
